Over the weekend, my taste-buds went to heaven after enjoying a beer pairing dinner prepared by Edgehill Café and Tennessee Brew Works. Now I don’t consider myself a huge beer connoisseur, but I really did enjoy each of the beers that were paired with each course. Each detail of the menu was perfectly thought out and was the perfect ending to a beautiful Spring day. The best cooks in my family were at this dinner, and each of them raved over every dish (thank you Chef Michael!). It was fun to watch them guess the ingredients in each recipe. The chilled carrot soup was by far the trickiest to pin-point. The soup had a browned butter drizzle that was to die for and gave such a unique flavor and texture. I loved having small portions of each different type of beer paired with each course. Everyone that attended enjoyed a great meal and learned a lot about beer and food. It was informative and tasty! 🙂 I’m definitely going to have to set up a tour now that I know a little about the history of this great local brewery!
